THE
STORY- San Ferdinando the Third was born in 1199.
When he was only nineteen his mother out on his head
the crown of Castille and later on the crown of Leon.
The rarest virtues could be found in him: love, prudence,
curage and audacity. He was very lucky, both in battle
and in private life.
He had two very worthy wives, the first of wich bore
him ten children.
he conquered Cordoba, the kingdom of Mursia and Siville.
His was a war of liberation in the political and religius
sense. His rule in life was to comit no injustice,
to fear God and have Him as the witness of all his
pubblic and private actions. Before dying he succeeded
in passing all his knowledge and values to his son
Alfonso, who became his heir. When he died, all Spain
mourned the loss of saint and a hero.
